Following the Sandy Hook massacre, the debate over what to do to protect children continues. But one attorney asserts that God is the best defense.
Sharp, Matt (ADF)Alliance Defending Freedom's Matt Sharp points out that God is being left out as a solution in the debates about what to do to protect children in schools from another massacre like the one in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14th. But that, he says, is exactly the opposite of what this country needs.

President Barack Obama has exempted four countries from a law that restricts the United States from providing military aid to governments that employ child soldiers, and a Republican congressman who co-wrote the law wants to know why.
A memorandum signed by Obama and released by the White House on Oct. 25 claims that the exemptions are due to “national interest.” The countries exempted are Sudan, Chad, Yemen, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Those four countries were named in a State Department report as “hosting governmental armed forces or government-supported armed groups that recruit and use child soldiers.” Two other nations named in the report -- Myanmar (Burma) and Somalia -- do not receive military aid from the United States.

CHICAGO (AP) - Barack Obama celebrated Father's Day by calling on black fathers, who he said are "missing from too many lives and too many homes," to become active in raising their children.
"They have abandoned their responsibilities, acting like boys instead of men. And the foundations of our families are weaker because of it," the Democratic presidential candidate said Sunday at a largely black church in his hometown.
Reminding the congregation of his firsthand experience growing up without a father, Obama said he was lucky to have loving grandparents who helped his mother. He got support, second chances and scholarships that helped him get an education. Obama's father left when he was 2.
"A lot of children don't get those chances. There is no margin for error in their lives," said Obama, an Illinois senator.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Police faced a difficult if not impossible task Thursday as they tried to stop the spread of pornographic video and photos of two high school girls, images that were transmitted by cell phone to dozens of the girls' classmates and then to the wider world.
District Attorney James B. Martin said at least 40 Parkland High School students believed to have received the images would not face prosecution as long as they show their phones to police by Tuesday to ensure the images have been erased.
But students at the school said the distribution was far more widespread.
