Galen Radebaugh recently retired as Vice President, Pharmaceutical Sciences, of Pfizer Research. With over 32 years of international R&D experience in several major pharmaceutical companies, he has helped develop and commercialize over 25 new products that have improved people’s lives, including: Asmanex®, Clarinex®, Lipitor®, Nasonex®, Neurontin®, PEG Intron®, Protonix®, Relistor®, Tylenol® Extended Release, and Zetia®. He has managed multicultural organizations on three continents, and worked with government regulatory authorities across the globe.
Dr. Radebaugh obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Connecticut and his B.S. Pharmacy from the University of Michigan. He is a registered pharmacist, a Fellow of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and a member of the United States Pharmacopeia General Chapters Expert Committee. He served as Chair of many professional committees and associations, and was an Adjunct Professor at Temple University and the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. He is an inventor on 14 primary patents for novel drug delivery systems, has authored or co-authored over 70 technical publications and book chapters, and has been a frequent invited speaker at national and international pharmaceutical conferences. He has been married to his wife Teresa for over 33 years, raised two Christian daughters, and attends Grace Bible Chapel in Chester, NJ.
