Scott Davis

Director of Student Ministries, Exodus International

As the Director of Student Ministries, Scott Davis oversees a division of Exodus International that helps teens and young adults struggling with unwanted same-sex attraction to find life and healing in Christ. With more than 150 professional mental health and church-based member agencies cross North America, Exodus
International is a growing network of former homosexuals dedicated to sharing the transforming power of Jesus Christ to those affected by unwanted homosexuality.

Scott’s goal is to encourage the evangelical church to reach out to youth grappling with their sexual identity with God’s radical grace and unswerving truth. He educates and trains college and youth leaders on this issue and currently
oversees the Groundswell Conference—nationwide training seminars that equip community leaders with a powerful, redemptive response to the growing crisis of pro-gay initiatives in America’s schools. In addition, Scott created and directs the Youth Day event where teens and young adults gather together at the annual Exodus Freedom Conference for mentorship and encouragement in their journey out of homosexuality.

Prior to coming to Exodus, Scott served on the pastoral team of New Life Campus Fellowship—a dynamic student church in Blacksburg, Virginia. Scott’s background as a campus pastor and friend to many young men who struggled with unwanted same-sex attraction, allowed him to see, firsthand, the need to communicate the hope of change.

Scott is a writer and frequent speaker at colleges, churches and conferences, including the Teen Mission Conference and Cornerstone Music Festival. He has been interviewed by many media outlets across the country including TIME magazine and ABC’s The View.

Scott graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institutes & State University. He and his wife, Caryn, make their home in Orlando, Florida.

Our Mission: We want to stimulate thoughtful debate and presentation of controversial issues on radio and television news and public affairs shows by representing guests who have something to say, and who know how to say it.
