Timothy J. Watkins – Producer/Director
Tim is cofounder of Leo McWatkins Films, a company focused on content development, production and co-production of programming and documentary filmmaking with a traditional point of view.
Tim was the producer of the four-time award winning film In the Face of Evil, Reagan’s War in Word and Deed. Tim is currently producing and directing The Blood & The Rose, a feature documentary on the conquest of Mexico and its role in the miracle of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Also working on the project are the producers of The Passion of the Christ and March of the Penguins. Mr. Watkins has also produced Distant Signals, a story about the history of cable television.
His television productions include Grace Before Meals, a cooking show with a family-friendly message and The Unknown Hero, a look at the heroic efforts of our military in the international War on Terror based on the breakthrough book Home of the Brave by Caspar Weinberger and Wynton Hall.
Tim is a regular speaker and media guest on the topics of entertainment, traditional media and emerging media on many news and entertainment outlets from the Fox News Channel to local radio.
Renegade, the production arm of LMW, is a leader in consumer and business-to-business advertising. In addition to producing over 300 television commercials each year, Renegade develops print, radio and web applications for some of the biggest companies in the country.
Renegade also maintains a vibrant training division that focuses on creating and delivering corporate certification training tools and seminars. Renegade trains more than 25,000 people per year.
Outside of the business realm, Tim is an avid participant in charitable organizations, including the raising awareness of autism. Tim Watkins resides in Westminster, MD with his wife and three children.
